Landowners
Thank you to landowners along the MinnCan Project route for allowing us to cross your property. Your participation helps ensure an abundant and stable fuel supply for you and your fellow Minnesotans. The additional crude oil supply moving through the Minnesota Pipe Line Company system will help meet Minnesota’s increased demand for gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel, which are important to the state’s economic prosperity.
Construction schedule
MinnCan Project construction began in August 2007 in select areas. As a landowner, you will be notified in advance of construction activities on your property.
The time spent on each property will vary slightly based on weather and the uniqueness of the land. However, each landowner will generally experience intermittent construction activity over an estimated period of six weeks from right-of-way grading to clean up.
Commitment to excellence
The MinnCan Project team is committed to completing the project in a manner that meets your expectations for communications and construction. As we construct and operate the pipeline, our top priorities will be people’s safety and the protection of the environment. We will restore the land properly and inspectors will monitor the construction work.
